What to do When you Delete Messages?

When you delete messages, they are not actually deleted from your Telegram account. They are only removed from the conversation view.

To recover deleted messages, you need to follow the steps given below:

Step 1: Open Telegram app and login to your account.

Step 2: Tap on ‘Chats’ option at the bottom of the screen and then tap on ‘New Chat’ icon (it looks like a paper plane) located next to ‘Messages’ in the top right corner of your screen.

Step 3: Now select any chat and tap on three dots icon (top right corner) and click on ‘View Details’ option.

Step 4: Here you will see ‘Delete Message’ option under message details section, just tap on it and then choose ‘Delete for Everyone’ option to permanently delete chat messages from both ends.
